Or if you have had the chance to use Highway & Heavy Parts before for a job like this one. I have to do the same in my 2013 maxxforce DT. Thank you
I have 2015 international 4300 maxxforce. Not sure if my crankcase breather is serviceable. I have it dissamble unitl last part. Not sure what is called. Cap cover, then you can separate the disc to clean. Any advice? Thank you
Hey Joe.I have a 2012 international with a Maxxforce Dt. every now and then it will blow a lot of white regeneration smoke but it doesn’t call for a regen was I stop accelerating the smoke stops any idea what it could be?
Smoking white or grey when regen occurs is normal due to extra fuel being dump to make the exhaust temp rise. It depends how often it smokes and for how long. White smoke could also be caused by coolant leaking into combustion chambers or exhaust system.

Hey Joe. Quick question 04 dt466 Fluttering during accerlation .. I can make a turn and have pedal down to the floor. It takes it about 1 min or so for the fuel to catch up to speed then it's fine. Any thoughts what I should check? Thank you in advance
@@JoesBusBarn Thanks for your reply Mr. Joe. I been having issues with my 2013 international durastar. I began getting blue smoke out of the tail pipe. When I first bought it I had to replace the injectors and the high pressure fuel pump. And recently with the smoke coming out. I just replaced both turbos because mechanics said the oil seal may be compromised. But unfortunately I’m still getting blue smoke. The reason I ask about the oil pressure is because the oil pressure at idle use to be around 20 psi and at highway speed only got up to 50ish psi. But now at idle it hovers around 35 to 45 psi. At highway speeds oil pressure gets up to 60 and slightly above. Oh yeah I also replaced the oil pressure regulator on the side of the filter housing. This is why I’m thinking that the egr may be plugged and overwhelming the turbo exhaust. And that’s why I’m getting blue smoke. Any thoughts?
I have a truck with the same engine and when you first start it up it is running rough enough to lose throttle response. After a little bit the throttle response comes back. The truck runs good enough to drive when you unplug the icp. With it plugged in you lose throttle response all together. Do you have a way to get ahold of you to talk about it?
There is one injector that is squirting a lot of oil from the top for some reason. I already replaced the oil rail pucks and the one o ring that seals the port that connects the rail to the head. I also replaced the valve cover gasket.

Worst transmission I’ve ever owned and come to find out it’s not an Allison. It’s a GM transmission badged with the Allison name. Don’t buy one. Mine is under warranty and the dealer won’t fix it.

Im about to take on this job myself here timing chain kit just arrived. I have never done this kind of a job on the car but i have no choice. If there are any tips or tricks you can give me that would be great! Same car. Im nervous about taking off the engine mount. Do i just use a floor jack for the engine?
What is that piece of metal sticking out under the cam cover right by the engine mount? Is that the head gasket? My car has that too and I thought it means I need a new head gasket...

Hey I’m looking for the video where you show the follower in cylinder 2 damaged. If you posted a video of the damage it caused the camshaft I can’t find it. Did the customer replace the camshaft or was the damage too big to repair?
Greetings, great video! I have the same ac unit and the blower motors were working fine but all of a suffer went to 1/2 operation. 2 fans and not 4 working . After about 20 hrs all the fans stopped working . Searching for the wiring diagram for the unit are scarce. My question is , is there any resistors(blower) in the inside unit that can cause the fans to be inop?
I have a 09 max force dt thats runs great at idle but take it up the road or an incline it does out from low fuel pressure replaced injector seal/low pressure valve/pressure regulator/fuel tank /filters / everything but the fuel pump and it does the same exact thing every time it’s also have dpf delete but ran fine after until I got bad fuel in the tank algae in the diesel I pumped

howd you keep the window up while taking off the window regulator
Use painters tape or lodge a bent piece of cardboard on the window rail to keep it from sliding.
I took those 4 bolts out of my turbo to separate it but I can't get it separated it's stuck together. Any advice?

we have a 2015 international with one of these breathers it’s basically a brand new breather and still throws oil like crazy

Joe, if the egr cooler is plugged. Will that cause a high oil pressure?
@@rickramirez4720 it would slightly raise your crankcase pressure but not your oil pressure

@@bluestraveler3093 it’s a plug and play. You can do a hard reset on it if you want. You can also do the reset with your shifter.

When I scan the truck it shows no codes by the way.

Where is the part removing the crank flywheel
You just need to remove all the bolts on the face of the harmonic balancer and use a pulley puller to remove it

I think you are referring to the small 25/64 expansion plugs. Don’t have a part number but I do have a size (diameter). Hope this helps.

It is not recommended but it can be done. I’ve reused head bolts a couple of times in the past. But again. It’s not recommended. They do stretch.
